development department. She would take the "slower" programmers into her office and sing this song to them, hoping that they
would speed up their programming efforts and write more code with fewer bugs. The programmers would often laugh, and most
of them would later quit.
Her producers told her that normal people don't understand computer programming, don't understand that the
job of a software manager is to beat programmers up and rub their mistakes into their face, or at least do not want to hear
popular songs about Software Managers singing to worthless programmers. She later re-wrote the song, and the rest was history.
