'Cause there maybe times
When you think you lost your mind
And the steps you're takin'
Leave you three, four steps behind
But the road you're walking
Might be long sometimes
You just keep on printin'
And you'll just be fine, yeah

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke decided that his "quantitative easing" policy needed some popular support, so he hired a cheap song writer to write a song about an unelected official deciding to print unlimited amounts of money.

Unfortunately, the songwriter stole the music and most of the words from a popular song, so it could not be used. That was a bad thing for the songwriter to do. He should not have done that.

QE3 was announced on 13 September 2012. In an 11-to-1 vote, the Federal Reserve decided to launch a new $40 billion a month, open-ended, bond purchasing program of agency mortgage-backed securities and also to continue extremely low rates policy until at least mid-2015. According to NASDAQ.com, this is effectively a stimulus program which allows the Federal Reserve to relieve $40 billion dollars per month of commercial housing market debt risk with no maximum amount or time limit. Ratings firm Egan-Jones said it believes the Fed’s decision “will hurt the U.S. economy and, by extension, credit quality.” As a result the firm once again slashed the U.S. bond rating bringing it down to AA-. Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke acknowledged concerns about inflation.

Come on and

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Don't you borrow nothing... Just print and re-load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road

Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Don't you borrow nothing... Just print and re-load
Come on, ease on down, ease on down, down the road

Un-em-ploy-ment's up
The e-con-my's down
Come on lets keep printin'
Don't you lose no ground
You just keep on keepin'
On the road that you choose
Don't you give up printin'
'Cause you just can't lose, no

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Don't you borrow nothing... Just print and re-load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road

'Cause there maybe times
When you think you lost your mind
And the steps you're takin'
Leave you three, four steps behind
But the road you're walking
Might be long sometimes
You just keep on printin'
And you'll just be fine, yeah

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Don't you borrow nothing... Just print and re-load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road

Well there maybe times
When you wish you wasn't born
And you wake one morning
All your in-di-ca-tors warn
But just know that feeling
Only last a little while
You stick with us
And we'll print you up a pile, yeah

Print 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Print 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Print 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Print 'em up, print 'em up ease on down the road

Print 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Print 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Print 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Print 'em up, print 'em up ease on down the road

Print 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Print 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Print 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Print 'em up, print 'em up ease on down the road
