The producers of the movie Lord of the Rings decided to cut this song from the movie at the last minute,
when they found out that the songwriter had stolen the theme (and much of the lyrics) from a song by ELO.
The Hobbit Frodo has just complained to the wizard Gandalf that he doesn't really want the One Ring,
is not really sure what Gandalf wants him to do with it, and would just rather go back to hanging out in the Shire with his
friends.
"and how would I really even know that the quest is over?" complains Frodo.
Gandalf taps his staff, assembles a motley assortment of characters, and launches into this song:
